Island By Rail Tour

3.5 Hour rail journey through some of the most beautiful scenery on Vancouver Island

After hotel pickup, this narrated coach tour departs Victoria at approx. 8:30am & follows the island highway to Duncan & its native carvings for a short stopover. Then it's on to Chemainus, a small town famous for its murals and sculptures (stop for photos/coffee). Continuing north, the next stop is for lunch on your own at the Coombs country market. After lunch, travel to Qualicum for some free time to explore before boarding the trail for a 3.5 hour rail journey through some of the most beautiful scenery on Vancouver Island. Arrive in downtown Victoria at approx. 5:45pm.

[Train North/Coach South Description]
This is the reverse of tour above. This tour includes rail service from downtown Victoria to Qualicum Beach and offers the coach tour from Qualicum to Victoria. Note that passengers commence the tour at the rail station located at 450 Pandora Ave; however, hotel drop off in the evening is included.

Tour ends at the Train station at 450 Pandora Ave, just a few blocks from the Empress Hotel Passengers will need to get themselves from the train station back to their hotel or the Clipper Terminal
